Wishing everyone a Happy New Year!  One of the the great things about living in Vancouver  is that we celebrate New Year more than once since we have so many different cultural groups  celebrating their New Year on different days.

We had a very busy December with lots of events and of course, Christmas parties.  Our tradition is to give all the children attending our programs an age-appropriate book.  We gave out over 500 books to our children.  Happy reading!

We welcome a new staff person to our Kidscare Preschool, Maiya, who joined our team until Roneeta returns in September 2012.

Our two parenting programs will be up and running shortly.  Life As A Parent (LAAP) will start January 16th and we are finalizing the dates for our six-week Nobody's Perfect parenting program which will be offered in English.  Both these programs are offered at no cost to parents with free onsite child care.

Our new family resource program at RIver District Centre continues to be very busy.  Our hope is to find funding to expand the program to 3 days a week.  We are looking into some fundraising opportunities to do this.
